York, Pa. – A sinkhole opened up in the parking lot of a York County Hardee’s in Manchester Township. The restaurant had to be temporarily closed because of the sinkhole.
The restaurant is located at Route 30 and North George St. in Manchester Township. A part of the restaurant was damaged by the sinkhole. Repairs are still in progress. The sinkhole is believed to be a result of last week’s heavy rain.

The office has also sent out their workers to other parts of York County to survey the damages caused by the storm. This information will then be sent to the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency to forward to the federal government.
