Route 422 to be partially restricted – Lebanon County Sinkhole
The restrictions are planned for next week on Route 422 near Palmyra in Londonderry Township. A sinkhole opened up near the Palmyra Bowling Center in 2019. PennDOT crews spent six months repairing the site and placed a bridge over it. The roadway was reopened after the six-month-long repair project.
The said lane restrictions are planned for Thursday, June 24. PennDOT explained that there is no apparent problem with the bridge, it’s just a routine checkup.
