Dog Rescued From Sinkhole – Putnam County Sinkhole
Putnam County, Tenn. – A dog was rescued from a nearly 20 feet deep sinkhole. The dog was found trapped in the sinkhole in Putnam County on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
The Putnam County Rescue Squad was informed that the dog was missing for more than 24 hours. Luckily, it was found in a sinkhole not far from home. Putnam County Rescue Squad member made entry into the narrow hole with the help of a rope and picked up the dog easily. According to the rescue team, the dog seems to be unharmed.
