Calf Rescued from Sinkhole – Maury County Sinkhole
Maury County, Tenn. – Rescue crews successfully rescued a small baby calf that fell into a sinkhole in Maury County on Tuesday.
The incident happened on Dry Creek Road in Mt. Pleasant. A baby calf fell into a 20—30 feet deep sinkhole. Rescue crews were called around 2 p.m. to the remote location. Fortunately, the rescue teams arrived at the scene in time and were able to pull the calf out of the sinkhole safely.
Both Maury County Fire Dept. and Animal Rescue Officials collaborated in this rescue. The calf was rescued safely.
