New Port Richey – Pasco County Sinkhole in Florida
A sinkhole that was filled before opened again outside a sports bar along Little Road at the intersection of Spring Haven Boulevard in New Port Richey, Pasco County in Florida on January 7, 2021.
The hole has a width of 50 feet and a depth of 130 feet. It first appeared right outside Varsity Club Sports Bar Trinity last October and was filled in by a private company three months later to prevent further growth. However, it opened again after just four days after the film materials that were used to fill it collapsed.
Since the hole appeared on private property, the owner is coordinating with a contractor to fix it.
