Teams have now completed short-term fixes to address the sinkhole issue on a Miami street.

Crews have been working around the clock along the southbound lanes of Northwest Second Avenue in Miami, Florida. As a result of these improvements, drivers can expect improved safety and convenience when traveling along Northwest Second Avenue.
On Monday night, a sinkhole shut down the southbound lanes of Northwest Second Avenue, between 24th and 25th streets in Miami.
On Tuesday afternoon, a large metal plank was used to cover up a hole that had been blocking traffic in the area. This allowed the roads to be cleared and traffic to flow again. The metal plank was able to quickly and effectively repair the damage in the area, ensuring that citizens were able to travel safely and without disruption.
